the lyrics to this song are amazing. the way they are written from the perspective of young naive kid.
and i think that the people who dont like this song really dont get it, they just take it at face value and say its stupid

aaaah, in Italy this song come up in summer 1993 I remember my adolescence.

I don't understand why all the critics hate this song so much. Granted, the lyrics are awful (like a "diet" version of Runaway Train) and the guy sounds like he's belching them, but the music and the chorus are glorious. If they had a different singer/lyricist (I'm thinking a Neil Young type) this would be among my favourite songs.
