yeah i like the design too but i am afraid that they might make the next gx too wimpy and turn it to unibody and its offraod capability wont be as good anymore. they update it the way they did with the landcruiser and lx570

yea true.
I also like the look of thr current GX....but it feels old in the Lexus line up....every else is updated already...i know they have a 09 refresh for the GX.

naa dude i think they should keep it the way it is cuz i feel like the next gx will be unibody and will take away the offroad capabilities that this one has. same goes for the 4runner. i am very happy with the design doesnt need a new one in my opininon

This Lexus GX470 (2007 model year) uses the exact same platform as the 1997 Toyota Prado.
It's a good chassis and all, but COME ON 10 years.
